Drabble : The Boy Who Vanished - H/R - PG
Title: The Boy Who Vanished
Written for: Challenge #11 atron_100 - A gatecracher at a Halloween party - "It's dangerous to change our minds / It's tough between the truth and lies" – The undead.
Pairing: H/R
Rating: PG
The Ministry’s Halloween party was a grim affair since Voldemort took power. Ron wished he didn’t have to attend, but all pureblood families were expected and he couldn’t attract attention by refusing.
If only Harry hadn’t vanished, the Ministry wouldn’t be full of vampires and werewolves; their new Minister said that Harry was dead, but Ron refused to believe it.
And then the hairs on the back of Ron’s neck stood up, and it wasn’t because a vampire was standing behind him.
“Harry?” he whispered.
“I’ve come back,” said a soft voice and a kiss was placed behind his ear.
