Hermione had never been to a music festival before, and even the most embarrassing pictures of her parents from the late sixties didn’t prepare her for the Real Glastonbury.

Not the real Muggle Glastonbury; not the weak beer and awful toilets happening on the far side of the hill. The Wizarding version had far better beer and far better tents, although the music still set her teeth on edge.

After a day of drinking far more than she was used to, turning down mysterious substances from people she thought would know better, and a pretty uninteresting conversation with a drunk and earnest young man, she decided to go back to her tent for a nap.

Waving her friend off as he went to return someone’s Floo, she curled up in her bunk to rest her spinning head.

She had barely slept for half an hour when a knock at the front flap disturbed her, and her clumsy admirer tripped into the tent with a firewhiskey in each hand.

Shaking her hair out of her eyes, she sat up and made room for him on the bunk. He handed her a drink and they sipped in companionable silence for a while, before he reached over and took her hand.

She blinked slowly as she watched his fingers stroking hers and was just about to ask if he wanted to see whoever was playing on the main stage when he leant closer and asked her if she fancied some no strings attached sex, just for the fun of it.

While not usually one for doing anything just for the fun of it, she had had a lot to drink and her head was pounding in time to the music outside the tent, so she reached up for his kiss and his hands tangled in her hair and he pushed her back on her bunk.

She really hadn’t intended to have any kind of sex at all, and had a single bunk and no sort of contraception with her, but she let him half undress and frot against her hip while his fingers slid inside her knickers and explored.

She lay dreamily under him, enjoying the way he moved against her and the way he muttered and groaned as he brought her to a gasping climax and then came on her shirt.

She frowned at his awkward attempts to clean her up and tuck her in and watched him zip up his jeans.

“Fancy seeing who’s playing?” he asked, nodding towards the music throbbing through what she only now realised was a wide open tent flap.

“I think I’ll go back to sleep,” she said, snuggling down in her bunk and smiling to herself at the smells of sex. “You go and listen. Don’t be too noisy when you get back, Ron.”
