“Hmmm?”
“I’ve got a fantastic idea.”
“Hmmm.”
“Stop writing and listen to me, you will be blown away.”
“Ron, just let me finish this report and we can go.”
“That’s the whole point. As soon as you submit that report, we’ll go home, and Hermione and Ginny will have a list of chores that need doing this weekend and we won’t be able to spend any time together, and my balls will explode.”
“Ron!”
Ron reached out and plucked the quill from Harry’s startled fingers.
“And here is where my idea comes in. There is no reason to go home tonight; we can go somewhere disreputable and have an utterly filthy weekend and then come into work on Monday and fill in your report and then we can go home and degnome.”
“Ron.”
“No one knows we finished the mission, they won’t miss us.”
“Ron.”
“We deserve some time to ourselves.”
“Ron,” Harry said sternly. “Your beloved sister is massively pregnant. Hermione has awful morning sickness herself, but has been dealing with Ginny single handed, all week. Do you really think we should hide in some seedy motel until Monday?”
Ron pouted.
“If we did,” he said seductively. “I’d let you do anything you like.”
Harry laughed.
“And this is different to your usual state of I can do anything I like, how?”
“This time I won’t tease you about it, afterwards.”
Harry looked at him closely.
“Even in front of George?”
“Promise.”
“You won’t even do the tongue thing?”
“Not this time, no.”
“And Hermione and Ginny?”
“I know we promised to look after them, but if Terry and Neville can abandon their pregnant wives to go up the Amazon and look for flowers, then we can bunk off for a weekend, and you can do the tongue thing.”
