“Ronald Weasley, this time you have gone too far.”

Ron ambled into the kitchen, stretching and scratching the belly revealed as his t-shirt rode up.

“Mornin’ love,” he said, wrapping his arms around as much as he could reach of Hermione’s waist and kissing her on the ear.

She made a noise like an angry cat and turned on him, her eight month pregnancy almost knocking him down.

“When I got back here, yesterday, after my Healer’s appointment, my curtains were orange.”

“Um, yeah.”

“When I dragged myself to my much needed bed, my duvet was orange.”

“Yeah, well…”

“This morning, it seems every dish in the kitchen is orange.”

“Hermione, d’you know how long it has been since the Cannons were in the semis?” Ron said, with his most charming smile. “Me and Harry just got a bit carried away, after listening to it on the wireless last night. I’ll put everything right.”

“I don’t mind a bit of redecoration,” she said weakly. “I know you were happy. But I am taking our daughter for lunch with my mum today; is it too much to ask that I don’t walk into a restaurant in Muggle London with a glowing orange two-year-old?”
