Ron queued up to Floo home, whistling cheerfully through his teeth.
“You make me sick,” Harry said, shuddering ostentatiously.
“You’re just jealous,” Ron said. “You wish you had such a delicious creature to Floo home to.”
“I do have a delicious crea… I mean, wife,” Harry protested.
“Nah, that’s just my sister,” Ron said with a smirk.
“Shall I tell her you said that?”
“Uh. No. Best not.”
Harry snorted.
“Seriously, Ron,” he said. “You snuck home at lunch time to shag her; you’re twitching with sexual energy, again.”
Ron stopped twitching and raised his eyebrows.
“How d’you know what I’m twitching with?” he demanded.
“Sometimes you and Ginny are very alike.”
Ron blinked.
The queue inched forwards.
“Too much info, mate,” he complained.
“Seriously, seriously,” Harry said seriously. “What’s with the twice a day shagging?”
Ron waggled his eyebrows.
“Sorry I was late, this morning,” he said.
“Three times?”
“And the night is young.” Ron grinned. “And my wife is gorgeous and we have our own place and can screw in every room and on every surface.”
Harry gagged. “You served me dinner on that table, last week.”
Ron ignored him.
“Be happy for us, Harry,” he said over his shoulder, as he stepped into the fireplace. “The spawn are both at Hogwarts and I have my girl back. You’ll feel the same way next September, when Lily starts school.”
He disappeared in a swirl of green flame, to reappear in his kitchen and find Hermione sitting at the table, staring into a potion flask.
“I have some news,” she said quietly.
