"No, but why my reports?" Ron demanded, gingerly picking up his parchment by a corner and watching it drip.

"It's nothing personal," Harry scoffed. "It's a cat."

"It never liked me," Ron said darkly. "You should have seen the looks it gave me as I was leaving."

"Leaving its mistress, having broken her heart?"

"A bit."

Ron mopped his desk sullenly.

"Tell it we're babysitting it while its mistress is on honeymoon," Harry said. "It'll forgive you; it'll forget what happened."

Crookshanks sat down, lifted a leg and licked its arse.

"See," Ron said. "It remembers how she caught us!"
