Curiosity - for elektrik_storm - Harry/Ron/Draco - PG
Title : Curiosity

Pairing : Harry/Ron/Draco
Prompt : curiosity
Words : 603

"How much d'you reckon the Dark Mark hurts?" Ron asked, standing by the window, looking out into the grounds.

"Why?" Harry said.

"'Cos Tonks isn't going to get him to talk," Ron said. "And I reckon he must have a high pain threshold, so we're not gonna torture anything out of him."

"We're not going to torture anyone," Harry said sternly.

"Ah, Malfoy doesn't know that," Ron said, turning to face his partner. "I say we behave as if we are, and scare the information out of him."

"Ron, I'm not going to threaten him with thumb screws."

"What are thumb screws," Ron asked. "You're not sticking your thumb up his arse."

"I don't know why I bother talking to you, sometimes," Harry said, rolling his eyes. "They're a Muggle torture device."

"Ah, well, as a rule of thumb - a rule of thumb screwing, if you like," Ron said, with a grin. "If I haven't heard of something, then Mr Pureblood in there won't have, either."

"Good point."

"Though you're welcome to stick your thumb up my arse anytime you want," Ron leered.

"During Sunday lunch at the Burrow?" Harry asked innocently.

"If you want."

Harry tsked.

"Anyway, is this idle curiosity, or do you have something in mind to torture Malfoy with?"

"I have something in mind," Ron said grimly. "Bring him out to the pitch."

Harry looked at the window. "It's raining."

"I know."

"Heavily."

"I know. Are you scared of getting wet?"

"No, Ron, but I doubt Malfoy is, either."

"Well, maybe he's scared of an elektrik storm," Ron said. "No one wants to get struck by lightning."

"Including me," Harry pointed out.

"You'll be fine," Ron said firmly.

He left Harry staring blankly after him as he left the room.

Down on the Quidditch pitch, where tattered banners hadn't watched a school match in five years, Harry arrived with a bound and truculent Malfoy to find Ron and a very large kite.

"What on earth are you doing, Weasel?" Malfoy shouted above the sound of the wind. "It's rather dangerous to fly a kite in a storm."

"Unbind him, Harry," Ron shouted.

A very reluctant Harry released Malfoy’s wrists and watched, wide-eyed, as Ron re-bound him to the cross bar of the kite.

"Are you insane?" Malfoy shrieked.

"No," Ron said cheerfully. "It's just an experiment."

"It won't fly," Malfoy shouted.

"Not on the wind," Ron admitted. "But maybe a Levitation Charm will keep it up."

"Potter, stop him," Malfoy spat, turning on Harry as lightning struck the top of the Quidditch stands. "He's going to kill me."

"It's in your hands, Malfoy," Harry shouted. "Ron is just sick of you not answering our questions."

"No way," Malfoy shouted against the thunder crashing over their heads.

Ron raised his wand and, with a swish and a flick, Malfoy rose off the ground.

The wind caught the kite as it reached head height and Ron let the cord out carefully.

Malfoy was shouting something, but his voice was stolen by the wind, and Ron turned to Harry and shrugged.

"Ron," Harry said, standing close behind him. "Don't actually kill him!"

"It's tempting," Ron shouted back over his shoulder.

Another bolt of lightning struck the stands and Malfoy screamed.

"Get him down," Harry shouted.

Pulling on the cord wasn't good enough, as the wind fought to keep its toy, until Ron's Finite Incantatum had Malfoy and the kite plummet to the ground from twenty feet up.

Harry unbound a bloodied and gibbering Malfoy from the wreckage.

"Keep him away from me," Malfoy screamed. "I'll talk, just keep him away from me!"

OK, that is as close to Harry/Ron/Draco as my universe goes….
