A Different Light - for thenotoriousso4 - Seamus/Dean - PG-13
Title : A Different Light
For : [info]thenotoriousso4
Pairing : Seamus/Dean
Prompt : Bulbs
Words : 160
Rating : PG-13

"Candles are useless," Dean said. "They blow out if you move too quickly; they go out in the wind, in the rain."

"Ah, but they're romantic," Seamus said. "That pretty flickering…ness."

"Light bulbs are more reliable."

"They're too bright."

"You can have a dimmer switch."

"Who'd go out for dinner and have a light bulb on the table?"

"What is with this super-romantic Seamus, all of a sudden?" Dean demanded. "OK, for a romantic dinner, you need candles, but for the ninety-nine point nine percent of your life where you're not at a romantic dinner, bulbs are better."

"But even when you're not tryin' to be romantic, candles are sexy," Seamus insisted.

"How?"

"The shape," Seamus sniggered. "Don't tell me the sight of Oliver Wood with a candle in his hand never effected ye."

Dean's hand slid inside Seamus' boxers and cupped his balls, squeezing gently.

"OK," Seamus conceded. "There is a certain somethin' to be said for bulbs, too."
